“We focus on sustainable solutions which harmonize economic objectives and ecological aspects. We utilize processes and methods which contribute to the protection of resources and raw materials.” (Excerpt from the corporate model of the Dräxlmaier Group)
- We commit ourselves to our corporate responsibility regarding the environment and man in particular. It is our goal to minimize or prevent negative environmental effects. Environmental protection represents, therefore, a fundamental part of the Dräxlmaier Group’s corporate model.
- In order to reduce environmental impacts, we put measures into practice regarding our products and processes which are both within the bounds of economic feasibility and beyond the legal requirements. Of course the requirements and interests of our customers, suppliers, and society are taken into consideration.
- During product development, we consider the entire life cycle of our products - from production, to usage, all the way to recycling/disposal. Special emphasis is placed on the increased usage of environmentally-friendly materials and recyclates, as well as continuous improvement in the recyclability and weight of our products.
- Our processes are continuously optimized: This is done for example, through the use of new technologies, prevention of waste, reduction of water and energy consumption, as well as avoidance of unnecessary movement of goods and shipments.
- We consistently sensitize, inform, and train our employees in such a way that they perform their tasks in accordance with our environmental policy and can actively support environmental measures.
- The Dräxlmaier Group’s environmental guidelines have been determined by the executive management and are regularly reviewed regarding the implementation of the defined environmental goals. Corrective actions are immediately initiated when deviations from the targets occur.
- We seek open dialogue with our customers and the public regarding all environmentally-relevant topics and cooperate closely with public authorities, associations, and other institutions.
